Trigger
Trigger is a 5 year old Border Collie mix who got hit by a car. The owners were going to have him euthanized, so Paws Without Borders rescued him instead. He has had an operation on his rear leg, and has some nerve damage in his opposite front leg. He is getting around just fine on 2 legs right now, though! Trigger is an absolutely awesome dog. No issues whatsoever. He is happy, friendly, good with other dogs and cats, and so far has just ignored the chickens. He loves the water, he's crate trained, housetrained, and knows all his basic obedience. This wonderful boy deserves a wonderful home!
Little Monkey
This is Little Monkey. She's a 3 month old 'chiweenie'. (Chihuahua/dachshund mix). Cute as a button. I've been looking for a wee little dog. This may be the girl I add to my own pack. She's super adorable, and has a great temperment. Apparently, no one wanted to adopt her because she was 'too shy'. It took her less than a day to get over that!!
Daisy and pups - All adopted!
Mom and ELEVEN pups are coming to stay with me tonite. EEEK! They are beautiful pups, and I am looking forward to seeing how their personalities develop. Will keep you updated!
Nov 5 - Pups are doing awesome! They are growing like weeds, and starting to develop personalities. Melanie from Paws Without Borders is already taking applications on these adorable little babies. It won't be long until they all have their furever homes! I've been working with them every day - getting them used to people, being held, touched, and picked up. They are also getting socialization lessons with my three girls! So far, I will guess that these pups will be a medium energy dog, and not too crazy!

Annie - Adopted!
Annie has got to be the most fun, coolest little toy poodle I have ever met. She has lots of attitude, and loves to play. She has great tuggy and ball drive, and will play with you for as long as you want! She also loves to snuggle and sleep on the bed;-) She has an amazing recall (especially considering she's had almost no training in her life) and we are working on basic commands like sit and down. I think she would make someone a lovely agility dog! She is awesome with all other dogs, and has no fear of any other dogs. She actually helps me keep the naughtier dogs in line! Annie quite often accompanies me in the field with chickens, ducks and goats. She has no fear of any, but doesn't bother them, either. She does have some shyness issues with new people, but comes out of it quite quickly. I've been working on getting her socialized, and she is even starting to come to flyball practices with me, to help with her shyness. Who knows, she may even become the next little flyball star!
Izzy
My name is Izzy and I am a super girl. I am a bit shy at first but once I warm up I am really sweet. I get along with other dogs but kind of like to push them around. I was initially labelled a chihuahua mix by the shelter but my rescuers say I LOOK like a bull terrier mixed with small sighthound. No really..Look at my pics! I am a stocky and well built little girl. About 20 pounds. I tend to bond to one person quickly and others more slowly. And if you have kids, it will probably be one of them. I am energetic without being hyper. I am VERY allergic to fleas so please please keep them off me! I love kids and like going for walks and rides. I am quiet in a crate and housebroken.
Update: Izzy is doing FANTASTIC. She is an amazingly smart little cookie. She learns fast, and is extremely attentive. She is developing a great recall. She would be a great dog for someone who wants to do tricks, freestyle, or agility. She has lots of drive and is willing to try almost anything.

Peanut ADOPTED!!
Peanut is sweet and charming and loves to be loved. This little guy would thrive with an active lifestyle followed up with lots of cuddling. He appears housebroken and gets along well with other dogs. We are working on leash training. He would prefer a home with children over 5.
Update: Peanut is doing very well. He is sometime so busy trying to give kisses, he forgets to do as asked. This little guy has oodles of love to give. He has lots of drive and potential, so we are focusing on teaching him to pay attention and be calm when learning something new. He is way too cute for words!
